Bridge of Sant Jordi

Built between 1925 and 1931, this Art Deco style bridge was an innovative project due to the use of reinforced concrete formwork.

It has a height of 42 meters over the course of the Riquer River and is 156 meters long. Its construction was a revolution in urban planning in Alcoy, as it allowed the city centre to be connected to the planned extension of the city on land in Horta Major.
