Church of Santa María de Alcoy

The temple was built in the mid-18th century in the Baroque style and was destroyed during the Civil War. On the same site this new church was rebuilt, in a classicist style, between 1940 and 1954.

In the Communion Chapel a Gothic panel with the iconography of the Virgen de Gracia, attributed to Jacomart, is preserved, and paintings by Cristóbal Llorens are also kept in the parish premises.

The mural that decorates the vault of the high altar is the work of the painter Ramón Castañer from Alcoy.
