The municipal laundry was the place where the women of Banyeres went to wash the clothes of their relatives. It was the place of work and social gathering. It is believed that the laundry was already working in 1885.
Today it is a rectangular building with a gabled roof. Inside the building there is a double row of sinks for standing washing and a fountain attached to one of the walls.
