Cela is located at an altitude of 396 metres, 1 km from Muro in the direction of Beniarrés, on the left bank of the River Agres. Currently, the population is 150 registered inhabitants, in summer the district of Setla doubles its inhabitants. Most of them have dedicated themselves to agriculture, which is now a second source of income; industry and services are now the main source of income. The patron saint’s celebrations are held in the second half of August in honour of the patron saint San Joaquín together with the patron saint Mare de Déu d’Agost.
When you pass through this district you will see a sign indicating the direction to Turballos at 3,622 metres.
