The path is classified as a short distance path (P.R.) with international homologation and is marked with two parallel yellow and white stripes. When these stripes cross, they indicate a negative direction.

The whole route is quite gentle, with numerous fountains and springs in its path. The exit point A is in the cemetery, in the highest part of the village. From here, crossing the road, we will find a sign indicating the P.R. We will quickly leave the village behind following a wide path that will take us to the Mariola road.

  1. At this point the P.R. passes very close to the G.R-7, following the path on the right we will reach a water tank where we will find a fountain
  2. At this point, turn off to the right and follow the river along the ravine until you reach the Font de la Coveta (Source of the Vinalopó River)
  3. From here we will continue along a wide path until we find the old road from Alcoy to Banyeres. At this point begins the path P.R. V-90 that continues in the direction of Onil. Following the road on the right we will reach a bridge
  4. We’ll turn left on a wide road. Shortly after passing the line of the gas pipeline we have to turn right along a wide path that for 200 meters is confused with the PR V-35 that leaves from the “Font del Sapo”, crosses the river Vinalopó and heads towards Elda. Our path continues along a wide path until we reach the “Font del Teularet del Roc”.
  5. Where we will go down a path to the Molí l’Ombria (river). In this place is the camping area of Banyeres. In order to use it you must call the M.I. Ayuntamiento de Banyeres de Mariola Tel. 96 656 73 15 6. Once passed the bridge we will turn to the left to arrive at the outskirts of the town and to raise by an old azagador until the point of exit (Cemetery) A.

The route in the opposite direction starts at the cemetery and goes by an old azagador in front of the door of the municipal sports centre until it reaches the river and then up a path at the Font del Teularet de Roc. It then continues along a fairly gentle route until it reaches the starting point.
