The Ruta dels Miradors is a route that allows us to go deep into nature to discover several viewpoints where we can contemplate the village of Banyeres de Mariola. A path to enjoy places to lean out and photograph an urban landscape surrounded by a natural environment, which is part of the Natural Park of the Sierra de Mariola.

This route of great scenic value runs mainly among pine trees, making it ideal for any time of year. It is not a hard route, but it has some short but strong/intense climbs.

During the route we can often see and hear large flocks of black starlings flying over the village, fields and wooded areas around us.

The black starling is a resident bird of the Peninsula, so it can be seen at any time of the year. Its plumage is black and in the breeding season its legs turn pink and its beak yellow.

Also the swifts, which come to Banyeres de Mariola at the end of March until September. They are very easy to see during these months, usually flying very quickly through the streets of the village or higher, over the trees, hunting insects… They have very long, pointed wings and a short, forked tail. They are very dark brown, but look black when we see them in flight
