Leave Bocairent by car on the CV-81 towards Villena and turn off at the first roundabout, taking the CV-794 towards Alcoi. At the end of the mountain pass, you will see a wide path and the information panel on the PR-CV-4. Leave the car there and follow the forest track on the left down to els Pouets de la Rambleta.

The route deviates to the right along a path that follows the Rambla del Vinalopó. Soon you will see the ruins of the Vinalopó castle at the top left and a little further on you will pass by els Brulls, where the vegetation becomes more and more luxuriant. Although the first waters of the Vinalopó are born about 6 km upstream in the Pla de Bodí, the best known spring called “the birth of the Vinalopó or the fountain of the Coveta”, we find it on the left of the road, being a good place to stop and refresh yourself.

A few metres further down, we cross the river, walking now on its right, until we see the chimney of the Dalt mill. Since the 15th century there are notices of a textile mill at this point, a flour mill in the 17th century, a paper mill from 1781 to 1943 and a “borrera” in the second half of the 20th century. Attached to this is the Molino de Baix or Blanes mill. Here we can follow a footbridge, which will serve to approach the “Toll Blau”, a few meters down the river. We will return along the forest track, passing the Mas de l’Altet and between the beautiful country house and chapel of Guilella la Nova and Guilella la Vella.
