Route through Agullent’s heritage: the Jordana font, various fountains and washhouses, the Sant Jacint convent, the Sant Bertomeu church, the flour mill, the main square and the town hall, …

The water makes its way, and its passage marks the path of life. Next to it, the tree grows proud, adobe is grazed to make houses and the ringing of its passage allows to refresh the body, relieve thirst and reconcile the soul.

In the Font Jordana, the watery transparency of life has exploded since ancient times, and around it stands a town that has grown, but has managed to preserve its most endearing heritage: one that talks about everyday life.

Following the route of the canal, we will make a route to discover the old Agullent. Those people who wisely designed around the passage of water, which became the force to move the mill, in the humidity that fed the vegetables, in the holy water of the hermitage and in the daily bread.
